Verdantas Flow Labs (formerly Alden Research Laboratory together with Clemson Engineering Hydraulics) combines flow analysis with advanced physical modeling, field measurements, precision flow meter calibrations, and innovative numerical simulations. Our firm works with clients to develop cost-effective hydraulic engineering and modeling approaches to evaluate structures, components, and fluid flow systems to improve operating efficiency, extend equipment life, and reduce performance and design risks. We have completed countless projects for public sector clients such as major utilities, municipalities, municipal water and sewer districts—including those who serve large metropolitan areas—and many private-sector clients. Verdantas Flow Labs has over 230,000 sq. ft. of laboratory space in two East Coast locations (Anderson, South Carolina and Holden, Massachusetts) and offices in Colorado and Oregon. Our 32-acre Massachusetts location is North America’s oldest continuously operating hydraulics laboratory, and is named Alden Campus to honor its foundational contributions that have shaped our world.
