The HI Engineering Data Library (EDL) is a web-based solution that delivers updated content backed by the reputation of the Hydraulic Institute to the professional and academic community. It is a comprehensive reference guide of pump and system principles, fluid properties, pipe and fitting friction losses, and unit conversions. By covering topics like Net Positive Suction Head, Pump and System Curves, and frictional losses, the data library incorporates standards developed by HI and other reputable sources into its references, tools and calculators.
The starting point for the EDL is HI’s Engineering Data Book, which has been relied on by pump and system engineers and users for more than 50 years, and now the EDL will serve the next generation for another 50 years.
