The PSC Level 1 certification exam consist of 125 multiple-choice questions and is a remote online-proctored exam via ProctorU. Each question has four possible options with only one correct answer. The maximum allotted time to complete the examination is three (3) hours.
Candidates preparing for the certification exam should review the exam blueprint, also known as the body of knowledge, in Appendix A of HI 41.8 Program Guideline. The body of knowledge contains all the knowledge topics covered by the certification exam and are categorized within sixteen knowledge domains. The HI 41.8 Program Guideline provides the percentage of exam questions that covers topics from each knowledge domain area.
Neither participating in a preparatory activity nor purchasing a publication is a requirement for participating in the PSC program. Resources available to help prepare for the PSC Level 1 examination include, but are not limited to, the following:
