HI University has developed plug and play curriculum resources for colleges and universities related to pumps and pump systems. Incorporate into your curriculum or as extra credit for your students to learn industry specific knowledge and a certificate of completion that employers will value. INTRODUCTORY PUMP AND SYSTEM TRAINING

Available to educators to incorporate in their curriculum, this is the starting point if you want to teach students about pump systems. Including introductory training on pumps, systems, pump & system curves, operation, power & energy, pump selection, plus associated learning activities. Visit HI University’s training site where you can review the training outline, and by creating an account with your university email you are able to review the training for FREE.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT CENTER (ITAC)

The US DOEs ITAC program advances a clean energy and manufacturing workforce, which aligns with the mission of the Hydraulic Institute. Pump systems should be a focus area for optimization, but not everyone has the knowledge tools and resources. Utilize the checklists, training, tools, and resources provided to unlock up to 44,000 GWh of annual energy savings associated with commercial and industrial pump system optimization.

PUMP INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS

Pump System Certification (PSC) and Pump System Assessment Professional (PSAP) certification provide standardized training and certification programs that are beneficial for employees and the companies that want to hire them. Access the body of knowledge for these programs to understand how educators can leverage these to enhance their workforce development programs.

HI DATA TOOL

The HI Data Tool is a FREE resource, which provides information on pump types, definitions, systems, fluid flow, interactive pump and system curve demonstrators, unit conversion tools, calculators for pipe friction loss, and much more. This is a valuable teaching resource for anyone educating on fluid dynamics and pump system operation.
