New Officers and Members Appointed during Annual Conference
Parsippany, NJ, January 30, 2025 – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), the largest association of pump manufacturers and suppliers to the pump industry in North America, and the global authority on pumps and pumping systems, installed new leadership during the 2025 Annual Conference in Rancho Mirage, CA.
John Donatiello, Senior Vice President Strategy and Business Development, Hydro, Inc. transitioned into the role of HI Chairman and Charles (Kerby) Pope, President and General Manager, Patterson Pump Company, was appointed as the HI Board President. Ansell Sims, President, Grundfos USA transitioned into the role of HI Treasurer and Mike Mancuso, VP Marketing and Technology at Flowserve Corporation was appointed to the role of HI Secretary. Each officer serves a one-year term through February 2026.Â
Three new members joined the HI Board of Directors, beginning three-year terms:Â
During the board meeting that was held during the conference, Tomas Dobrovolskis, VP at Hidrostal NA, was appointed as Vice President of Member Services to continue the association’s work to engage the greater pump manufacturer, supplier, engineer, and end-user communities.
Outgoing Chairman, Scott King, President and Chief Executive Officer, Gorman Rupp Co., will continue to serve as an ex-officio member of Board.Â
The HI Board is responsible for providing organizational oversight to the Institute and guiding the direction of its strategic plan.Â
